The AUTOID9N is designed for one-handed operation during long scanning shifts. It runs Android 14 with GMS and AER on a Qualcomm 2.0GHz octa-core processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and can be ordered with a Seuic 2D engine, Honeywell SR engine or Zebra SE5500 engine in addition to camera scanning.

The 4-inch IPS touchscreen supports glove and wet-hand input, and a 27-key light-transmitting industrial keypad with two side scan keys and PTT speeds up entry. Connectivity covers dual-band Wi-Fi (ax ready), 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and GPS/GLONASS/BeiDou. The IP67 body is rated for repeated 2 m drops and 1000 tumbles, and the hot-swappable 5360mAh battery is quoted for up to 16 hours of use.
