The T800 was Printronix Auto ID's first desktop printer built on the Printronix System Architecture. It uses a solid double-walled clamshell, a colour LCD, and supports the same menu structure and management tools as the T6000 and T8000, so it fits well in companies that already run those industrial printers. USB, Ethernet and serial are standard, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options.

In India the T830 is suited to hospital labs, retail back offices, dispatch desks and light manufacturing, where a desktop size is needed but IT teams want enterprise features. It emulates Zebra, Datamax, Sato, Toshiba Tec, Intermec and other printer languages and works with PrintNet Enterprise and SOTI Connect.
